“Like many photographers I developed an enthusiastic interest in photography and creating images at an early age. Later studies at the New England School of Photography and the New England Institute of Professional Photography added technical expertise to the creative passion. Studying, and later helping to teach, studio photography at NESOP led to a real love of product photography. The total control of the studio setting gives the photographer amazing power to make the most ordinary of objects appear extra-ordinary. A life-long fascination with computers has also proven invaluable in the modern world of digital imaging — retouching and sophisticated compositing techniques greatly enhance the creative possibilities open to us.”
Mark is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the Professional Photography Associations of New England and Massachusetts. His images have won first-place awards in state and national professional photography image competitions.
